Today's (non)events

Journal Entry: Thu Dec 13, 2007, 12:39 PM
Woke up to see the sun going down at 3.30pm
Got ready to go out to do the weekly shopping
Scraped ice off the windshield of the car
Listened to Ancient Rites on my mp3 player cos the tape deck is busted in the car
Complained about nearly every driver in front of me
Bought myself a new mousemat with a wrist rest (ah, relief!)
Listened to christmas carols in the supermarket and wanted to kill the person who decided to play christmas carols
Had a tissue argument with my mate and he stomped off in a hissy fit
Admired the waxing moon on the horizon on the way home
Pulled a face at the chavs on my driveway and pondered that i could do with the assistance of Vlad the Impaler
Discovered when i got home that the kitchen light was doing a strobe impression
Lit my oil burner with jasmine to mask the smell of the neighbours cigarette smoke
Ate a soggy watermelon
Updated my deviant art journal

...ah, the thrill of life!

O GOD! LoL The same fuc*ing thing everywhere! It is so typical : the ugly "Christmas" spirit which is nothing more just a big spending spree commercialized through Christmas!
Interesting description of the (non)events i must say... You made me laugh... :)

hee hee, Glad i could make you laugh! :D Christmas can be good... but mostly annoying! I've grown to dislike it more and more over the years.

sounds like fun  The sun was setting at 3:30pm? Was time does it rise? I hate sunlight. I swear i'm allergic to it.
People sing xmas carols over there too? My god, its a world wide infection!! (it's driving me almost to the point of homicide too)
 Don't worry. Two more weeks and it'll all be gone.

:) The days are short here in England during winter. The sun rises at around 8am. The summer it's just the opposite... the sun rises around 3.30am and sets around 10pm. You can see light upon the horizon nearly all the time.
Why do you hate sunlight? lol. I quite miss is at times though i tend to be nocturnal :)
Not a fan of xmas either huh? :P

wow... and bleh to summer... we get 8 hours of dark at the moment - It's not enough!!! >.<
I burn so easily. Three minutes and i'm feeling it, 10 minutes, and i'm burnt. It sucks. I'm very nocturnal. i like the dark. there are stars and moons, and moths and cats that all come out at night :)
Bring on Litha!! bloody early christians, ripping the pagan holidays >.<

I originally come from good ol' down under too :) The seasons and times pretty much stay the same there (in Queensland where i came from), but England couldn't be more different!
I can stay in the sun for quite a while without too much of a problem, though it brings out my freckles, which i don't like!
I loved the night in Australia much more. I remember sitting by the window, looking up to the milky way, watching the fruit bats fly by as toads hopped about on the lawn. Love it! England is crap, day and night, lol.
You're interested in the Carpathians in Romania too aren't you?

OMG! :glomp: just because.
England sounds like my sort of place, i like wet and cold.
You're lucky for that, minus the freckles. when i was doing school i've go through a tube of aloe a week to stop my skin from peeling and getting painful, until mum got an aloe plant and now they've taken over the front yard.
I love going out to the middle of no where, where there's no light pollution and watching the stars :) there are so many of them. Now i practically live in the CBD, i only get to see a few stars when i look up.
I certainly am :D I'm a huge mountain and forest freak. Plus the myths and legends of that region is what fueled a number of my stories.

hee hee :glomp: too!
You like wet and cold... hey, why don't we changes places :D I don't mind wet and cold actually... England is just kind of ugly (where i live anyway)
Wow, you must have very sun-sensitive skin to need a whole garden of aloe ;P
What myths and legends are you particularly interested in? I can't seem to find much written about it except what we know in the popular mainstream... i wonder if there really are vampires out there? :P

:aww: :cuddle: (something tells me this is going to turn into a hugs war...)
>_< Ugly is not good.
Bleh.. it wasn't fun. it was stinky....
There are a number of not well known wolf and moon myths legends and folk tales from that area. I'll try to dig them up agian, but i can't make any promises.
There are vampires out there. They aren't necessarily night dwelling blood drinkers, but they're there, sucking away energy, time, or money from people.

Oh, i would love to know about those moon and wolf legends! I've been trying to find out more about the legends of this place, but i can't find them. If you can help me out, that would be great!
Hmm... like a lot of the vampires in this world!
